(the chapter opens at night. Tenebris sitting by himself under a rundown building by the docs looking at the rain)
Blackheart: So what are you going to do?
Tenebris: I don't know.
Black: I thought you had a plan? I mean you cant just give yourself up, they kill you.
Tenebris: If I fought them here, This town and everyone in it are in danger. especially those boys.
Blackheart: this town has been under threat from those pirate for years, you wouldn't be fighting alone.
Tenebris: it's not the pirates I'm worried about. (looks at his arm)
Blackheart: what's under those bandages?
Tenebris: The Consequences of a different man.
Blackheart: (stops and they just stare at the fire) I have something to ask you, and trust me I have not made this decision lightly.
(arthor and karri are watching blackheart and Tenebris talk)
Karri: What's happening?
Arthor: I don't know, but whoever that guy is, I don't trust him.
Karri: He seems alright to me.
Arthor: That's what you say about everyone, he's just acting nice until you find out who he really is under that kindness.
Karri: you always see the worst of people even if its not there
Arthor: you always see the best of people even if it's not there.
Karri and Arthor at each other: >:(
Arthor: you saw how he looked at me when he saw that.
Karri: What other 13 year old would have a tattoo on their arm?
Arthor: it's not just the tattoo, he knew what its about, I could tell.
Karri: maybe he was looking your ugly face
Arthor: (stares angrily at him)
Arthor: (silence from both for a while) I just don't want to go back.
Karri: I don't either but maybe he showed up here for a reason
Arthor: Maybe you're right. (sees blackheart look over at them)
Arthor: There's just too many mysteries about this guy. he just washed up one day and he knows about the Kongur. what's really under those bandages? something about this guy reminds me of "him". (cut back to blackheart and Tenebris)
Blackheart: I made a promise to protect them, and I won't go back on my word. (looks sad) but if there's a chance to keep them safe and free this town I have to take it.
Tenebris: You hardly know me why would you trust me?
Blackheart: I can't tell you why, but I have a feeling the creator sent you here for a reason, so as much as I want to, I won't go against it. But at least tell me (holds out here hand and her eyes light up) your name.
Tenebris: ...Tenebris.. (he looks at her and his eyes light up and he shakes her hand) and I promise to set this place free...and keep those boys safe.
Blackheart: "Hough" there's a transport coming in tomorrow, it's the only way your going to get out of here town. Take the boys and get as far from here as you can. (goes to leave)
Tenebris: Thank you.
Blackheart: (looks back) no, thank you. (leaves)
Tenebris: (waits by the fire) (looks out at the rain) Why am I doing this. I don't even know these people. (his rings glow) I should be on my way to Chelliah, that's why im out here, so why am I still here. It's not my problem. (rings glow). Maybe I really was supposed to be here.
CHAPTER 6 IN THE WRONG PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME
(morning arrives as Tenebris looks up and the rain subsides)
Tenebris: looks like it's time to go. (he stands up and starts walking to the dock as a ship docks)
Blackheart: this is Gregor he is one of the only traders that's bold enough to still come through here.
Gregor: Howdy (walks onto the deck and goes to shake Tenebris hand who offers his left hand instead) Alright then. Blackheart good to see ya.
Blackheart: you as well Gregor your timing couldn't have been better.
Gregor: by the looks of it, it couldn't have been worse, them pirates were especially lively, even with that storm that came through. but nothin stops Gregor the best sailor this side of heaven. Hahaha.
Blackheart: I need a favor.
Gregor: first things first, you got the goods for me?
Blackheart: its my last stock but Im hoping I can get more soon.
Gregor: that's all I care about, If I got that I'll do anything you want.
Blackheart: I need you to get this man and two others out of here, can you do that?
Gregor: Can I do that Ha! Of course I probably can.
Blackheart: well...then it's settled, he'll take you guys as far as he can away from here.
Gregor: And where is it you might be going traveler?
Tenebris: Longra Milli.
Gregor: great! that happens to be on the way and it's not too far from shore. plus the pirates aren't as tight around the eastern end anyway. with "those" islands there.
Tenebris: (eyes narrow)
Gregor: (leans over to Blackheart) I can see why your trying to get rid of him.
Blackheart: I'm sorry for all the trouble, but I really have no other choice.
Tenebris: (arthor and karri walk with heavy cloaks on)
Gregor: these the other two?
Blackheart: yes.
Gregor: Alright let's get going before those pirates come around.
(they each board the ship but karri stops by blackheart and hugs her)
Karri: thank you.
Blackheart: It was my joy.
(they set sail) (blackheart walks into her office and grabs a picture frame of two young men with legionary uniforms on. looks sad and puts it down) creator above keep them safe.
CHAPTER 7 PERFECT TIMING
(They set off and Arthor, karri, and Tenebris go below deck)
Gregor: those pirates have been along here for a while, and I've learned a few tricks to keep my prized cargo safe. (opens secret hatch in a storage container) they won't find ya here.
(they get in the hold )
Gregor: I'll give you the signal when those pirates come search my ship, hopefully we'll stay pirate free but that hasn't happened as of yet. (starts walking up stairs)
Tenebris: wait what's the signal?
Gregor: you'll know it when you hear it.
Arthor: what's that supposed to mean.
Tenebris: (notice the anger emanating off of Arthor) your angry.
Arthor: really you think, some random guy washes up one day and the next we leave the only actual home we've had with him.
Tenebris I know your upset about leaving Blackheart but it was not a light decision.
Arthor: it shouldn't have been a decision, we were fine where we were.
Karri: Arthor come on
Arthor: na, you don't think its strange this guy randomly comes along and now were on our way to who knows where, we could be going straight back to them!
Tenebris: we are going somewhere safe.
Arthor: yeah, and how safe is getting there, were hiding from pirates in a shipping container on a trader's ship.
Tenebris: If there was another way, trust me I would have taken it, I rather not associate with those of the Kongur.
Arthor: (his eyes flash red) who do you think you are!
Tenebris: Someone who is not only putting off something extremely important to protect some deliquesce, but is also risking my own life in the process so I suggest you calm down before you anger gives away our location to the people im trying to protect you from.
Arthor: Fine... but I just want you to know, when we get to where were going were going off on our own we don't need some stuck up wanna be hero to protect us, we can handle ourselves just fine.
Karri: (looks sad)
Tenebris: (notices) fine by me. let's just get there. (they sit in silence)
(cut to a while later with Gregor on steering)
Gregor: (sees a ship approaching in the distance) Aw sh, Hey we got some BIG FISH out here!
karri: big fish sound awesome I want to see
Arthor: i think that's the signal
Tenebris: that couldn't be the signal?
Gregor: Those are some pretty BIG FISH!
Tenebris: (unamused) that's really the signal. (they hide and close the hatch)
(the ship sends two hooks over and latch onto the railing and they lower a board to walk across)
(the pirates come aboard Gregor's ship)
Gregor: LEO my "Mane" man haha
Leo: Gregor! (Leo walks on and gives daps him up)
Gregor: Big Man Orion (Orion walks on)
Orion: what's going on Gregor
Gregor: My lady Vela (bows and offers his hand)
Vela: (disgusted) Gregor.
Gregor: what's the special occasion that brings these captains together. (Gregor looks shocked)
(Cepheus walks on with Corvis behind him)
Gregor: Corvis...it's an honor...
Corvus: I assure you the honors all mine. I finally meet this trader I've been hearing about from my captains.
Gregor: that is flattering that I've reached the ears of an esteemed warlord such as yourself, hopefully good things haha.
Corvis: Quite...You have some cargo that is very important to us.
Gregor: well then you can check my supplies if you wish (they go below deck and open all the crates.
Orion: Found ya!
Gregor: (thinking) (oh no he's gonna kill me)
Orion: (Comes above deck holding the barrel of beer) we got what we came for capn.
Corvis: Thank you kindly.
Gregor: if that's all you wanted you could have just asked.
Corvis: there is one other thing (he takes out his gun and points it at Gregor) where are they?
Gregor: where's what?
Corvis: you know what im looking for, a man with white hair and blue eyes.
Gregor: A man with white hair and blue eyes huh, cant say I've seen a fellow in my life meeting that description.
Corvis: (puts the gun to Gregor's head)
Tenebris: stay here
Karri: they'll kill you
Tenebris: they'll kill Gregor and sink the ship, with us along with it if i don't do anything. (he opens the container)
Corvis: (pulls the hammer back) last chance.
Gregor: (serious) Trust me you don't want to do this.
Corvis: Don't I (pulls the trigger) (Tenebris appears next to Corvis with Gregor)
Gregor: wha..what happened?
Tenebris: I was hoping to get away peacefully but it seems that's not going to happen (he looks up and his eyes glow light blue)
CHAPTER 8 ESCAPE PLAN
(Tenebris is standing facing the dead star pirates )
Corvis: Leo told me you were fast but Im thoroughly impressed.
Tenebris: Get below deck
Gregor: You don't have to tell me twice. (he runs to the hatch, but Orion goes to stop him and Tenebris appears and kicks him in the face allowing Gregor to get below deck)
Orion: Son of a B..(Tenebris kicks him again sending him back a little ways)
Vela: (attacks with a sword, Tenebris doges and counters by braking the sword)
Cepheus: (shoots before Tenebris attacks causing him to dodge backward as Leo swings connecting with Tenebris but he blocks it)
Leo: I Said we'd meet again! (as his lion tattoos light up with his eyes and attack furiously) (Tenebris parrying all the attacks and moving back)
Corvis: I want him alive.
Tenebris:(eyes flash black which allows Leo to get a clean hit sending him back)
Orion: (Standing with his belt glowing goes to slam down on Tenebris who dodges and Orion brakes the floor)
Tenebris: (thinking to himself) got to make this quick.
Corvis: If you haven't noticed your outnumber and have nowhere to go, so if you could just give yourself up now, we will let your friend leave alive.
Tenebris: outnumbered aye, (his eyes glow with his rings on his necklaces and four Anda spirits appear 3 men and a women all with white hair and light blue eyes) looks like a fair fight to me.
Corvis: (thinking) this guys more dangerous then I thought, He must be a higher up in the Kongur, he's probably as strong as a royal knight. (aloud) Take him by any means necessary!
(Orion's eyes belt and gloves light up red, Leo's eyes light up Yellow with his lion tattoos, Vela's eyes light up pink and Cepheus takes aim as his eye glows blue) (they go to clash and it cuts to Arthor and Karri below deck with Gregor) (hearing the fight above deck)
Karri: What's going on up there
Gregor: That's what i was going to ask you two, who is that guy?
Arthor: we don't know, he washed ashore a few days ago saying he fought the pirates before.
Gregor: I thought you guys were his kids or something
Arthor: hell no.
Gregor: even if he had fought them before, there's no chance he's going to make it out of this one that's why were getting out of here. (he grabs some supplies) while those pirates are busy well take their ship and get out of here.
Karri: we cant just leave him to fight the pirates by himself
Gregor and Arthor: Why not?
Karri: he's fight to protect us, the least we could do is help him.
Gregor: Im no where close to the strength of those pirates and you guys are children.
Karri: (pulls out a blade) we're not children.
Arthor: im not going out there
Karri: then ill help him by myself (he goes upstairs)
Arthor: karri stop (tries to stop him)
(cut back to Tenebris and his spirits fighting)
(A male spirit with a shorter white hair and stubble fights with Orion, another male spirit with shorter curly white hair fights with Leo, another female spirit with long hair fights with vela, another male spirit with long hair and scars on his face fights with Cepheus and Tenebris fights the captain)
Orion: (punches the spirit but it goes right through him and he kicks Orion back into the barrel of beer. ) NOOO! your going to pay for that!
Leo: (punches the air sending waves of energy at the spirit who doges and lines themselves up with vela who gets kicked into one of Leo's blasts)
Vela: Agh! (on the ground) Watch it!
Leo: Sorry sis! (gets blindsided)
Tenebris: (doges all the captains bullets and knocks the gun out of his hand and onto the other ship, Corvis pulls out his sword and swipes but misses and Tenebris counters but corvis jumps back to the other ship and picks up the gun and starts shooting again as Tenebris runs and jumps over to the other ship as well)
Corvis: (Tenebris runs at him) heh (his eyes glow and Tenebris drops to his knees like he's being crushed) Your on my terrain now. This is why they call us the dead star. (Tenebris tries to stand but corvis crushes him again down to the deck, points the gun at his head karri flies in and stabs Corvis in the shoulder) AGHH! what the, you little rat! (throws karri off of him and stumbles back as he takes the knife out of his shoulder) where did you come from!? (Tenebris eyes glow black and he gets up and teleports over to Corvis, brakes his gun and grabs him by the throat with his bandaged arm and throws him back into the cabin wall)
All the crew: Captain! They all stop fighting and go over to the ship (Tenebris grabs Karri off the floor and dashes over to the other ship and brakes all the stuff connecting the ships)
Tenebris: Gregor lets go!
Gregor: (grabs the wheel) on it!
Arthor: Karri! (runs over to Tenebris who puts him down and all the spirits fade)
Karri: Im alright. (the ship sails away as fast as they can away from the pirates)
Tenebris: (Eyes turn back to normal and he pulses) Agh..and falls to the ground and passes out
Karri: Hey what's wrong!
Arthor: what happened?
(fades to black)
CHAPTER 9 THE DEAD STAR
(the chapter opens Tenebris wakes up)
Karri: He's awake!
Arthor: Finally
Tenebris: where are we? where are the pirates?
Gregor: We are almost to Longra Milli.
Tenebris: How long was I out.
Gregor: about a day and a half.
Tenebris: really!? we'll im glad you guys are safe.
Gregor: So what exactly are you? I mean are you some kind of royal knight, I've never seen anything like that.
Tenebris: no, you could say im retired.
Arthor: (looks angry)
Karri: that was so cool how you fought all of those pirates off by yourself.
Tenebris: luckily they were holding back. but Im sure that would have gone a lot differently if you didn't show up. so you have my thanks for that.
Gregor: well that was something else. but if you could fight like that, why were you hiding?
Tenebris: If at all possible i want to resolve things without fighting, ever since this (gestures to his bandages) I haven't been able to control my Orku and its very taxing to use as you could see.
Arthor: Orku? what's that?
Karri: Sounds funny
Gregor: Have you ever been mad and feel like you need to punch something
Karri: no. Arthor: all the time
Gregor: well that's Orku mixing with you emotions that needs to be released.
Tenebris: with enough practice you can control Orku in its various forms to do all sorts of things.
Karri: can I do that!?
Gregor: maybe one day. Anyway, were closing in on our destination.
(Tenebris and the boys stand on deck leaning on the railing at night)
Gregor: (Gregor docks the ship) Here we are End of the line Longra Milli. (they go to walk down the plank)
Tenebris: thank you so much for risking your life for us.
Gregor: Don't mention it, If it weren't for you that would have been my last voyage, so let me thank you. (shakes his left hand) Be safe out there.
(Tenebris walks down the plank)
Gregor: Oh and your never allowed back on y ship! (Tenebris smiles and keeps walking) (turns grabs a barrel)
Tenebris: (walking with Arthor and Karri) hm that's funny.
Arthor: what?
Tenebris: I thought you were going to leave as soon as we landed.
(Arthor angrily walks) we just so happen to be going in the same direction.
Tenebris: (smiles)
Karri: how do you know those pirates wont find us here?
Tenebris: We're not stopping here, where going further. I just need to talk to someone. (he walks into the bar)
Jaeja: Tenebris your back earlier than expected?
Tenebris: a lot earlier, unfortunately I ran into some trouble.
Jaeja: Oh?
Tenebris: (gestures to the Karri playing with some armor and Arthor smacking him )
Jaeja: What were you doing out there!?
Tenebris: I really wish i knew.
Jaeja: So what happened?
Tenebris: It's a long story, I'll tell you some other time. Do you have the key?
Jaeja: do you have my ship
Tenebris: ...well...(puts a piece of broken wood on the counter)
Jaeja: "auh!" why do I let you take anything of mine (hands him the dagger) so who are the kids
Tenebris: their names are Arthor and Karri, they somehow escaped from the Kongur and were hiding in barrok. (arthor looks over after hearing him say that and becomes suspicious)
Jaeja: ok but who are they really?
Tenebris: (looks at him)
Jaeja: You cant be serious
Tenebris: Im always serious
Jaeja: Your insane, you brought Kongur here! (Arthor looks worried )
Tenebris: No, I helped children that were in danger
Jaeja: if your right then your asking for trouble, and if you lying you've lost it and I should report this to the legions.
Tenebris: I made a promise, you know I don't make those lightly.
Jaeja: oh yeah like the promise to return my ship!
Tenebris: I didn't promise you that!
Jaeja: whatever just leave me out of whatever your doing, I don't want any trouble coming round these parts.
Tenebris: I will pay you back for the ship.
Jaeja: Get out of here (leaves)
Tenebris: (turns around) lets get moving...? (arthor and karri are gone)
