Rena waited outsider her schools infirmary. She could over hear the adults talking about the fight she had gotten into with one of the other kids. The headmaster asks "So Jim was making fun of Rena and she attacked him in response?" a teacher says "It's a bit more complicated than that. Jim has been making fun of her for weeks. I punished him every time and informed his parents but the behavior persisted." The head master acknowledges "ah. A child of her age would have inevitable lost her temper. Still how did she hurt him that bad so quickly?" The teacher replies "It took some time to pry her off. She's only 6 but I swear she's as strong as someone twice her age. I was so surprised that my first attempt was too weak to work."  The headmaster sighs "I see. I shall inform the baron of what happened."

After a few hours Meg picked up Rena. Once alone Meg asks her "So why did you want to hurt the boy?" Rena replies without guilt "I shouldn't have to put up with a commoner making fun of me. Besides I wasn't trying to hurt him" "You weren't?" "I was trying to kill him." They stop as Meg says "my Lady Palemare you do not have the power to get away with that." Rena says confused "But I'm stronger than he is" Meg nods "yes but not strong enough to fend off guards. But I can help in the future. I am bound to you. Mearly say the word and I will do what I can." Rena cocks her head "It is true you always do as I ask..."

A few months later Rena's sister fell ill. It was quite the serious illness but one she was recovering from. Inside Rena's chamber Meg asks young Rena "I sense you don't desire to see young Mina recover yes?" Rena replies "She has the better room." "You only need say the word" Rena smirks "Get me her room." Meg makes her way to Mina's room. Mina wakes when she hears Meg shut the door. Mina weakly asks "Meg? What are you doing here?" Meg ignores her as she proceeds to shut all the curtains to the room. Meg turns around and looks right at Mina with evil yellow eyes. She proceeds to walk towards Mina. The room grows darker and darker as Meg seems to look taller with every step. Mina asks scared "Meg...what's happening?...Meg?" Darkness consumes the room. The only thing Mina can see is the yellow eyes high in the darkness. Mina quivers "Meg...please." She then can see a fog glowing with a sinister crimson beginning to roll over the bed. She tries to scream only to be muted by the fog rushing in. She desperately tries to move but her limbs won't respond. Her last thought as she stares into the unfeeling yellow eyes is...why?

Six years later Rena and her family went to the Wuldrok Mountains. Her parents had to see the Duke of Gor Drake and Rena and her brother were old enough to come along. At first Rena was somewhat excited. She knows they help the Duke negotiate with Wuldrok from time to time so perhaps they get to see a dwarven city. Much to her disappointment however they just went to some surface town. Still they are in the mountains...easy to get lost...have a nasty fall...She hears her brother say "Mad it isn't a city?" Rena sighs "Sort of. You know what might be fun? Us slipping away to explore the mountains." Her brother says worried "Alone? Without telling anyone? I know know....?" Rena scoffs "oh for once in your life don't be such a baby." "I am not" "Are to. Shouldn't be surprised I guess though. Never could take a hit" "That's because..." "Baby" "Oh fine let's go. That will show you I'm not a baby." Rena grins and they then sneak out of the town making sure to not be seen. High up the mountains on a forgotten trail Rena was looking over the edge marveling at how small the town looked from up here when she hears her brother almost cry "Ok. I p-proved myself. Can we g-go back now?" Rena rolls her eyes "Coward. We haven't been out here long" "Still they might notice w-we are gone soon." Rena sighs "To late. I see light at the start of the trail." Her brother approaches the edge saying "See I told you this was bad idea....wait I don't see anyone" Rena let's him look a bit making her way slightly behind him but still to his side. Rena says "Oh guess I was wrong then. Shame you won't make it back though." Her brother says confused "what does that mean?" Rena says "Say hi to Mina for me" and shoves him over the edge.
